Warning: Worst Builder Ever

After working with more than five major building companies over the years on home renovations, I can confidently say this has been the worst experience of my life. Their workmanship is beyond unacceptable — rushed, sloppy, and completely unprofessional — as if the job were handed to someone with minimal training or care whatsoever.

The amount of money wasted on fixing so many of their mistakes and redoing multiple ceilings properly by other contractors has been devastating. I paid in full for several jobs that were never completed, and despite numerous attempts to get a refund, I’ve received nothing but excuses and avoidance. In total, they’ve effectively ****** around R65,000, once you count the money paid for unfinished work and the additional costs of repairing their disastrous work including repairs on installation of aluminum windows and doors — which had far too many problems to list.

The owner and father of the company, Mohammed, is shockingly dishonest and unprofessional. He makes huge claims about experience and quality that couldn’t be further from the truth. The level of craftsmanship I received was not just substandard — it was disgraceful. I honestly have no idea how this business is still operating. He loves to boast about the houses he’s built, including his own, but judging by the shocking workmanship on my property, it’s clear that those claims are nothing but empty talk.

To make matters even worse, the builders showed disgusting and disrespectful behaviour on-site — including actually urinating for several days in a corner section of the bathroom during construction. The smell that created was unbelievable and showed a total lack of decency, hygiene, or respect for my home.

Even after giving them multiple opportunities to correct all their mistakes, Mohammed refused to take any responsibility for the financial loss and chaos his company caused.

Do yourself a huge favour and stay far away from this company. Save your money, time, and sanity by choosing a reputable, professional builder — because dealing with this business has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare from start to finish.
