Sa Garage Doors
Supplied faulty motor and poor service

Construction & Repair

SA Garage Doors installed a new garage door for us in October of last year (2013). The electronic board (of the Digi Door IQ motor) had to be changed on day of installation as there was a problem with it. The transformer on the motor was loose as well) A few days later they put it a new board. The door still kept sticking. They told us all that was needed was a simple adjustment. We were away for most of Nov. into Dec. then Christmas holidays in between so we phoned them in January to come and sort out the problem.By this time the door was sticking constantly and we had to open it manually. Eventually they sent someone out on the 23rd January. They couldn't sort out the problem and took the motor away. We phoned and they said the motor would have to be sent away to be fixed. Since it had never worked from day one we felt that we should receive a new motor. First they agreed, then said it was over three months old so no guarantee. The fact that it never worked properly from day one didn't seem to concern him in the slightest. Unprofessional to say the very least. Not at all interested in the customer's rights. Fine to accept one's money but not deliver. Crooked bunch
