On 10/12/2012 i purchased a RYOBI Lawnmower from Builders warehouse in Witbank - Model: RM- 65 P, following some research i did on the internet ito different options from different manufacturers. I used the machine for /- 20 minutes on 15/12/2012 when it just stopped. I then saw petrol leaking from the carburator bowl and the machine would not start again. I then proceeded on leave and on return i returned the machine to Builders warehouse in Witbank on 4/1/2013. I was informed the machine will be sent to Ryobi for repairs but that they only opened again on 7/1/2013. I was informed that i will be kept up to date by either Trudy or Sharron. I have called around every Wednesday since and they keep on telling me that the machine has not been returned. I asked for Trudy to please follow-up with the service provider on the status of the machine, but have not heard from either of them since. I have had to hire a lwn mower from Talisman for R385 Eexcl VAT, just to keep the lawn in some sort of reasonable state. I do not beleive this is the standard of service we want in South Africa, not even to speak about a conglomerate like Wallmart/Massmart. I just need feedback- to much to ask?
