Bad telephone etiquette

When phoning the builders store I get through to a call centre and inturn the branch. When I got through to the store the receptionist seemed very agitated and the patches me through to a department where the people that answered didn't even speak proper anything. Back to the receptionist who is by now very annoyed and back to someone that at least speaks my language and a very helpful lady in the board/kitchen unit department.
