Customer Service from a Salt mine!

An employee of the company namely, Sipho took a basket out of the trolly I was pushing without asking me/us. I told him the least he could do was ask me/us if he could take it and he responded that he won't ask for our permission. I asked him to put it back because i/we had more stuff to buy, he went on about me making noise about a basket. I reported him to the manager and while I was talking to his bosses he was busy mumbling that he's been there for long and nothing will happen to him. While I was busy paying he came to the tills and stood there as if to intimidate me. I feel this is no person to deal with any customer and should be at the back not intereacting with customers or they will lose more customers like they've lost me.
