Include a start and estimated end date of the project in your quote.

Instead of paying the 50% required deposit amount, rather go with Riaan to the hardware shop and buy the paint and required consumables. Keep the paint and consumables at your premises.

Before, during and after work is completed get a second opinion to ensure that quality is enforced.
