We bought some laminate flooring from Builders about 3 weeks ago which cost us R10k. We asked if they could keep it for us and deliver in 3 weeks time, which they agreed. Delivery should have taken place on Monday morning, but we heard nothing. My husband then called to follow up and they agreed to deliver on Wednesday before 12pm which my husband had to stay at home and wait for. Once again we heard nothing so my husband called them again today only to be told that they no longer have any stock!!! When we bought our 45 boxes we were told that there were still 60 boxes in stock, which means that they sold our flooring to someone else, after we had paid for it! The manager said he would call my husband right back, it has been 4 hours and no call. As far as I am concerned this is! This flooring was on special so we can't just replace it with something else. Builders Warehouse sold our property to someone else, did not tell us and kept our R10k. Do I now need to go lay a charge of at the police stattion to get some action? Totally Disgusted!!!
