Bad Fireplace installation

We got a Jetmaster fireplace as a gift from our parents. We needed someone to install the system in our house at an affordable rate and found the details for JJ Chimneys on Gumtree. 1 Week after the installation the escusion plate felt from the roof. Both my partner and I called Jacques numerous occassions around the matter. He makes empty promises and never pitch to fix the job he could not properly do. The installation cost me R 1800 and given the timeframe (2H) within which it was installed I think it is no doubt reasonable for me to ask him to fix it. What will happen next if I have a water leak problem from the chimney??? Where do I go to then... Please be cautious when you intend to deal with him
