Laserfix
Beware of their automatic renewal clause!!!

Computers & Services

We signed a service agreement with Laserfix on 24 May 2006. This agreement was for 12 months. We notified them on 18 April 2013, almost seven years later, that we have changed our printing solution to something more cost effective. We informed them that we are more than willing to pay 90 days notice. Without delay they handed us over to their attorneys demanding 14 months (R56, 013.93) notice as we did not notify them 90 days prior to anniversary of the agreement of our intention to terminate. We have asked them to be reasonable about their demands as our printers was our own and have not given us much trouble over the last seven years. They also do not consider that their agreement was for 12 months and we used them for seven years. Please read your contract carefully when doing business with Laserfix as they will enforce it very strictly and to my opinion, unfairly. This is a good example of an automatic renewal clause that should be crossed out when signing a service agreement.
