PRICE QUOTED NOT PRICE CHARGED

On Monday the 08 April I took my Gigabyte Computer, which I purchased from Matrix Warehouse Computers in Sunridge Park, . The hard drive was busy failing and I asked the technician Thomas if this was a huge problem. He told me that the hard drive needs to be replaced. He quoted me a price of R869.00 and I asked him if this included fitting and data transfer and everything and he said that was the cost. I also said I needed the PC soonest and he said he would see what he could do for that afternoon or the next day. My mom went into the shop this morning only to be told that they did not include the price of labour onto the cost and that the cost be over R1000.00. This is totally unacceptable, as this should have been quoted to me yesterday when I asked for the total cost. I phoned and spoke to Thomas who said that he thought I meant did the price include vat. I told him what I meant and I specifically asked if the price included fitting and data transfer. Also, because my husband chipped in and said as long as the computer was ready by Friday morning. Thomas has now put my computer last on the log. This is also unacceptable. First come, first serve should be the motto.
