Bad Service and Pathetic Attitude

I was at the Strubens store on the 30 Dec 2013 and ready to purchase a Bexley 8 seater dining room suite with sideboard. Thomas the salesman quoted me R15k for the set and specifically advised that I could have a pick of any of three styles of chairs that were on display with the set; at the price of R15k. The sideboard was valued at R8k. I would have paid cash and asked for the total cost to be discounted. He checked with his manager and came back to advise me that he had incorrectly quoted me on the price and that my requirements were going to cost a total of R27k. I called for his manager, Nizam/Nazim, and he said that he was sorry about the incorrect information on the pricing. His excuse was that his salesman was new. He accused me of wanting to pick a fight, when I insisted on purchasing the suite at the originally quoted price. This store manager and his salesman are a shocking ambassadors of a good brand. You guys are pathetic!!!
