We have been experiencing very poor service from the local technicians on 2 occasions now has the technician brought us faulty hardware. The 1st time the technician came to replace the motherboard of one of our XPS machines the main board he put in did not work after which he said our old main board had water damage. Bear in mind the new main board he put in didn't work at all.

Yesterday on 05 March 2013, that same technician came to repair my own work station. As per my mail to the support -
The Dell technician replaced the motherboard and the HDMI was working. Shortly after he left the laptop blue screened at this point it battled to start up again. after several attempts the machine finally booted. This morning upon starting the machine it started to flicker and the machine started to produce white noise. The machine no longer boots up.

The local technicians have also not got back to me regarding a motherboard fix for another machine since it does not display on a projector. Dell had previously logged a call for this fix, but now want to re-troubleshoot.

We have had 7 HDMI port failures all on XPS machines.

This is not acceptable.
