My "pc guy" sourced a heatsink cooling fan for my laptop last week. As i live far away i phoned i arranged for a friend to pick it up for me and phoned yesterday to confirm availability and price. The receptionist said she would phone me back but did not. This morning I phoned again and was now informed that they could not supply over the counter and i would have to take my laptop in for it to be fitted, at an additional cost of R380. I explained that i could not drive all the way to Milnerton and sit around half a day waiting for it and that i had arranged for my pc techie to do it and that he had also confirmed that we could buy it over the counter. I asked to speak to the person in charge (Jacques?) but was told he was busy and would not be available until later today. Needless to say he did not contact me. The receptionist was not interested in my situation at all and i got the impression she couldn't even be bothered to talk to me, telling me she was very busy. I am very suspicious that they wanted the laptop because they will fit a pirate part...? With such a bad attitude my pc tech has now decided he doesn't want to deal with them again. A very disappointing experience.
