Service request 872766705 logged at 08h30 on Thursday. At 15h30 on Friday I call to check status. Just to be informed that "the service team should have called you, as we don't have the part in stock".

Firstly it is quite surprising that Dell South Africa does not have a motherboard for a laptop purchased less than three months ago. Quite concerning in fact...

Secondly you should perhaps be informing customers of delays before they check back with you...

Thirdly, it was quite frustrating to be told that the only escalation process Dell has is for customer relations to call me "on Monday"...
