BEWARE, this huge company is so dishonest

Computers & Services

Within 6 months the laptop's screen wouldn't switch on. Incredible Connection confirmed this but Lenovo said there's nothing wrong with the screen. Then a key broke off a week before the warranty expired. We sent it in to replace the keyboard. A response 14 days later, the quote is R4500, R1200 more than the purchase price a year ago, and, it will not be repaired under warranty due to liquid damage. The motherboard is damaged. When asked why the laptop worked 100%, including the key that broke off, their answer " the liquid hadn't reached the motherboard by the time we handed it in"!! Honestly, liquid takes days to seep through a laptop? Yeah right! Also they say the key broke due to liquid damage. A plastic clip on a plastic key breaks from liquid??? People who repair computers think this is the joke of the year. What a feeble excuse to not repair days before the warranty expires. Last Wednesday my husband asked for the laptop to be returned to us. Today I was told it'll be delivered to Incredible Connection tomorrow, 6 days later. Is this what they call customer and after sales service? What a SHOCKING, DECEITFUL COMPANY LENOVO is. No wonder they don't respond on Hellopeter!!
