Lenovo not honouring warranty

I got supplied with a company laptop a year ago. Along with the laptop an extended 3 year warranty was purchased. It has since stopped charging. So I phoned Lenovo SA and asked what the process is for getting it fixed. They told me I need to log it with Lenovo and then drop it of at the service center (in the Montague Gardens industrial area (this is a 40min drive for me). I log it with Lenovo and get a reference no. When I took the laptop to the service center they wanted to charge me a booking fee because the reference no doesn't indicate that the laptop is under warranty. I showed them the proof of extended warranty purchase but still they refused to accept the laptop. So I head back home and phone HQ again. I explain that it is very urgent that I get the laptop repaired for work and I need the right reference no ASAP. The assistant says to email him and he'll respond immediately. I do this and get no reply. I phone yet again explaining that i need the right no, again i get told to email them and again I get no reply. I could almost have bought a new laptop if I spent the time working rather than dealing with these incompetent. They just do absolutely nothing...
