Mustek takes a week to open a box - no service

So I sent back my second Asus t100 laptop within 7 day due to it having a panel that is loose. The unit apparently cant be replaced until mustek has declared it faulty. There is a gap between the panels of the tablet portion which literally a 3 year old could point out. It is plainly faulty and anyone who would bother to open the box will agree. It has taken Mustek the entire week (Monday to Friday) to NOT declare the tablet transformer thing faulty. Apparently someone is absent and now they can only provide feedback on Monday.

This is troubling.

The questions I ask:

a) do they have only have one technician that can open a box? Surely not
b) have they scratched out their eyes and are unable to see the grand canyon of a gap that exists between the panels and now need a geologist to point out the fault lines?
c) do they simply give a flying... farmer about customers?
d) are they government employees?
e) why in the name of all that is obvious and logical do I need to wait a week for someone to open a box?

This will probably only get answered next week Friday by which time someone will have tripped over the box and noticed the canyon, but I wanted to write it anyway
