ASUS - bad service and given the run around

ASUS, you have failed me and clearly many others in any form of service delivery. I support your brnad by buying your product and yet you give me the run around when I need assistance. I hope many people read and never use your products because of your disgusting service.

I have an Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700, i need to replace the USB charger cable. I contacted your Jhb office and was told that these cables are in stock and cost R50. I am not based in Jhb but come through once a month. I have not been able to use my tablet since the USB charger was damaged. When i get to Jhb i am told that ASUS no longer supplies to the public even though they do have stock, I must go through Mustek.

I contact Mustek, Natasha le Roux, who asks me for the serial number so I have to contact Asus back who can't assist me. After going between Asus and Mustek, Mustek fobs me off by sending an email telling me to try contact someone else. All this time, phoning 25 different departments and running around for a damned R50 usb cable! I understand the need for paperwork but when you have an item and you are just being plain difficult and i still have not had any luck.
