Taking long

I brought my bosses daughters ipod in to be repaired, i was told the part will be coming in the following week: it has been over a month. When i called last week the manager told the consultant that i spoke to, that he will not be giving the date of the arrival of the new shipment. This reflects badly on myself in my bosses perspective and quite frankly is ridiculous.
