How can it take this long?

I ordered a new power supply on the 10th of October from MUSTEK (as I was told to by ASUS), I was told it would take 3-7 working days. When I inquired I was told they were awaiting stock from ASUS and it could take 2-3 weeks to deliver. Today when I inquired again (tomorrow is 3 working weeks) I was told it could take ANOTHER 2-3 weeks for the part to come. How is it possible that it could take almost two months to import, if I am not told that again after another 2-3 weeks?

Absolutely pathetic.
