Global Giant shows disrespect towards ME

My dad bought me Office Home Business 2010 on Friday 8 February 2013, which I collected from Macway (retailed) Monday 10 February 2013. I installed the software on my laptop and activated it using the product key. I didn't know if activation is the same as registration but no-one could tell me the difference. I was entitled to a free upgrade to Office Home Business 2013 when it was available. But I wasn't sure if my software was registered properly. I called Microsoft SA on 0860225567 on Friday 10 May 2013 but the call-centre proved disastrous. I called about 6 times and all the consultants were concerned about was my particulars (full name, city, country, mobile-number) then the calls were disconnected without providing support...
One of the consultants actually kept her promise of returning my call when it `disconnected'. She called me from Romania. I was happy she did that, but I asked her a question "Would the new version of Office 2013 delete my mail (PST files) when it installed? " She wasn't sure and would refer to technical support for answers. That was the last time I heard from her.

I AM NOT IMPRESSED with the level of disrespect from a GLOBAL GIANT.
