Item overcharged

I am Moleboheng Elephant. On the 23rd of November 2024, I bought a dress that had a price tag of R149.99. To my surprise, after paying with a bank card, I checked the slip, and it was R169.99. What I did not like is that I was never informed of the difference I had paid, meaning I was robbed.

I then enquired from the cashier, Siyabonga, why I was paying R169.99 instead of R149.99 as indicated on the price tag. He simply apologized, but I am not accepting his apology, as I expected to pay the price on the tag. I asked for a manager to address the issue, and he reported to a lady who was at the neighboring till, but she did not offer a better reason. I then asked the lady to allow me to talk to her immediate supervisor, but she told me she does not have one. Unbelievable.

I took the dress because I needed it, but I am not happy to pay an amount that was not on the price tag. I did send an email to admin@exactafrica.com on the 23rd of November 2024, but there was no response. I sent a follow-up email again on the 14th of December 2024, and still, there was no response.
