On 18 April I booked a car online, to collect at 11pm and return at 9pm the following day at OR Tambo. My flight was delayed and I called Europcar's customer care to notify them. I was told the car would be there when I landed at midnight. Upon arriving I was told the car was given to someone else. After a half an hour wait, I was finally given another car. I used the car to travel to Kensington, less than 15 kms from ORT. That evening, I returned to ORT by 9pm, less than 24 hours later. The "inspector" asked if I had scratched the mags of the car, which I did not. Then, after showing him there was no tyre damage etc, he put away the card without marking that the mags had been previously damaged by someone else..Leaving it open to accuse the next driver of the same thing.

The following day I see I was billed for someone else's car and 2 days usage. More than DOUBLE what I should have been billed!!! I called and spoke to Yasmin who said someone would call me. It's a week later and no one has called. I was also billed R175 for less than 50kms worth of petrol.

Totally disgusted with the lack of efficient service. Will NEVER use Europcar again and I still demand my refund!!
