Toyota
Incompetent staff and Really bad diagnosis!!!

Cars & Transport

I bought a Toyota Fortuner 3.0D4D (2nd hand) after owning a Isuzu. I had a clutch noise which appeared out of the blue on day and was situated in Upington at that time. 1st service, 01.11.2012, I complained about the clutch. I was assisted by Maryke van Zyl, upon collecting my vehicle I was told they need to remove the g/box, the clutch fork & pin needs to be replaced @ 100 000km. I argued and disagreed and was eventually told they can do nothing ells. This happened throughout the 110 00km, 16.05.2012, 120 000km, 30.07.2012, 130 000km, 04.10.2012. I then relocated to Port Elizabeth in December 2012. This time I took my vehicle to Algoa Toyota in Newton Park where I was assisted by David Senekal. I once more ask to PLEASE sort out my clutch. The driver came to pick me up, I had to take him back and settle the bill. Before I even started the vehicle the clutch was still not sorted! Back at Toyota I once more complain and was told they had a look at it but could not find anything and that I should book the vehicle for some other time! I drove straight from there to Williams Hunt Delta, 45min later the problem was solved without any bill to settle and no questions ask! Dissatisfied
