A friend of mine purchased a new Nissan October 2013 - it was faulty and spent 8 weeks at Star Nissan - she paid the installments, insurance and the costs of another car while she was without the new Nissan!
Star Nissan gave her a new car 11.01.2013. 12.01.2013 Star Nissan installed a tow bar on the new vehicle damaging the boot and the bumper. At a meeting 17.01.2013 it was agreed that Star Nissan would take the vehicle back and reimburse my friend - of which I have irrefutable proof. Wikus - the sales manager - reneged on his undertaking on the 22nd instant - despite promising my friend heaven and earth that he would assist her; also that he said that as a gentleman he would give her her money back if the second vehicle was problematic.
On Friday the air-conditioner on the second vehicle started making a noise and today 27.01.2013 the vehicle broke down and had to be towed back to Star Nissan. I know of two other unsuspecting purchasers - whom Star Nissan have also led a merry dance!
Never ever buy a Nissan from Star Nissan - they do not honour their undertakings, and in my opinion, they have no clue about cars - let alone Nissans!
Does a new Nissan only last 2 weeks?
