Last week saturday the 30 march my bikes gears had a problem, i could not select 3rd, 4th or 5th gear and so took it to there branch in claremont on the monday, i am a contractor and as i did not go into work i did not get paid, as this has happened many other times due to the fact i could not get to work and had to take the bike in.this is the only time that its taken almost 2 weeks to be repaired and in those two weeks i have been struggling to get to work, now that its fixed i get told i must pay a sum that i canot afford up front, i was not quoted before the repairs were done and it should have been done under warranty as my bike has only 15000km on the clock and a full service history, furthermore if i knew that it would not be replaced under warranty i would have not been taken it for its reguler services.as well as get it fixed by my mechanic for a small fee.its unfair i only got the fee afterwards and not get quoted before hand as that is the right procedure.the only way i can pay is on a weekly basis and i cannot up front, i am highly annoyed as i cant keep struggling and waisting money to get to work, if i do not get my bike back i will be taking this matter much furher!!!
