It all started off with having the car serviced and and oil burning and water leak problem to be addressed. Meko gladly took my money and had my car for a fortnight. During this time a speeding fine was clocked on my vehicle while it was supposedly "in pieces". I had the cylinder head & valve seals etc. re done, which cost a pretty penny. I collected the car and all seemed fine, until both the water leak returned and the car was still losing oil. I have returned my car to them on many occasion thereafter, adding a few other items that where breaking along the way. but this was because i was lead to believe i had a guarantee. This is a constant ongoing argument between myself and Meko Motors that has been going on for over 6 months now. My car has been in their possesion longer than it has been in mine, and still i have ongoing problems. the latest now is that the rings are shot and the pistons warped, so a further R20k overall is now needed. to which I'm over a barrel for because my car in their garage in pieces. I can strongly reccommend to anyone not to use their services ever. I am currently looking into taking this further legally and through the CPA.
