We bought out Kia Soul in 2010. a month after the 6month return policy, our Kia started to leak oil on the gearbox, after we wanted to return they vehicle, they said no, it out of the return policy.. if that wasn't enough, they would fix the problem... Not replace the part or gearbox, but fix the problem... Since then our Kia Soul has been in for 5 times for the same leak and every time we come back they can't seem to find the problem., ...Everything is fine until the next service or we see an oil leak, then they pick up the same leak again... We bought the car from KIA Klerksdorp and they referred us to KIA Potchefstroom for all problems. This has been an unacceptable experience, and as of KIA because of the oil leak from the start, that was a factory problem, not our problem... and we are battling with a brand new car... I just feel that if it was ANY OTHER agency we would have been refunded, car replaced or at least gearbox replaced... We have had problems within the first 7 months with maybe 10 000km on the clock, I cant wait to get rid of my KIA and start with any other car EXCEPT KIA, as I dont need this in my life to worry about a brand new car with defaults :(
