On Monday morning o8h00 on our way back from holiday, we stopped at mentioned branch with a broken torsion bar. My car was booked in and was told as soon as the first car comes off the ramp ours will be attended to. We were taken to a mall, as we were not from PE, the friendly city, and we were told that we will be contacted in due time. In due time it was as by round about 14h00 we were phoned and told that they do not have a part and that it will take 2 days for them to get a part to PE. Excuse me, 2 days, in the MOTOR CAPITAL of SA. Be that as it may. What took them so long to realise that they do not have a part in stock? If we havent started phoning as from 13h00 onwards we most propably would have been told by 17h00 that they could not help us. When we then requested them to think a bit further and assist us to find a scrap yard that might help us, the wheels started turning. I spoke to Dewald, who is to be in charge, and after lodging a complaint to him at 14h50, returned my call with a answer at 16h30. so much for service and urgency. Such a pity that caring and urgency has gone down the drain in certain areas in our country. We will NEVER make use of them again.
