BEWARE Crash Motors

Cars & Transport

On 17th of February a clamp broke on my 5 day old Ford Ranger and all the fuel spilled out. I contacted Ford breakdown services who organized Crash motors to tow the vehicle to Eastern Cape motors. 2 days later I was informed I can pick up the vehicle from Eastern Cape motors.

I managed about 2km from the dealership before it started to stall, only just managing to get to the nearest filling station. Of course the 26km test drive/joy ride has to be mentioned according to the odometer.

Last week for the first time I looked in the compartment for the jack and tools, and found it missing. The only place it could have gone missing is either Crash motors or Eastern Cape motors. I contacted my agent Gerrit Potgieter (Kouga Ford and Mazda) who contacted Eastern Cape motors. Craig Wasserman contacted me and said he or Adriaan would call me back on Monday the 4th of March. Of course they did not. I'm driving without a jack and tools in the mean time and if something happened, they couldn't care less. Thank you for pathetic service. I should have stuck with my Isuzu's. I sent an e-mail to all three companies concerned today, as well as Ford. Lets see what happens now.
