After an accident my insurance authorised car hire from europ car. The car was due at 3 but i went in at 12. I was sent back :(. Anyway at 3 i got there and was greeted by sylvia (lacks compassion to provide service with a smile). I was given a banged up Chevy... dents scratches, stains etc (i drive a new car). After noting most of the damage (much to sylvias frustration) i raised my dissatisfaction to her. I was told that due to the soccer, this was the only car they could source. She assured me that by Monday she will arrange a replacement car. She didnt call on monday so icalled on Tuesday and spoke to Marlien (manager). she promised to investigate and come back to me... 40 days later and the concerning part begins. I call in today to find out from sylvia if she intended to call me back. she tells me she deals with so many customers and so many cars that she cant remember everything!!! So i spoke to Marlien who tells me" to be honest, i forgot about you". I will not use Europ car out of choice... no service with a smile, poor quality vehicles, forgetting to follow up with customers... you think an apology is sufficient for return business? AVIS here i come
