Dont buy a car from Kia Durban South

I tried to buy a car from Durban, while being based in joburg.
This sales agent confirmed, on email, the total price of a second-hand vehicle.
I was asked to pay a holding deposit of R1000, which I did, in good faith.
Later, when the invoice was being finalized, the price jumped up by about R3000, which was non-negotiable.
At this point, the dealership had not yet provided any of the documents that they had promised.
I decided to walk away from the deal, as the pre-sale issues were a sign of potential post-sale issues.
The dealership refused to pay me back my deposit.
I am now complaining to Kia head office to resolve the matter.
Moral 1: Don't buy a car that you have not driven.
Moral 2: Don't buy a car from Kia Durban South - they may your deposit.
