False promises / bad dealership

I tried to purchase a 320d from Lyndhurst Auto after the sales guy promised me they were willing to take off R5k from the advertised price. When I got there, he said he could not do that anymore, but were willing to perform the registration and on-the-road cost for free. When I had to apply for finance, I asked for an official quotation, after which they provided me with a proposal which charged for registration etc, stating that the vehicle did not qualify for discounts. All this delayed the deal up until last weekend-which had BMW SA run a special on pre-owned 3-series at no deposit and 2.99% interest (which they never informed me of)... but I then rather opted to buy one of these vehicles. On Saturday, after test-driving the 320d, I agreed to purchase that vehicle, completed the forms presented, and paid a holding deposit same day. They again required some more documents from me to complete the finance application, which I agreed to provide during the week, but 3 days later, they claim that the promotion was only for the weekend, and they can not fulfil this deal anymore (irrespective of my deposit).
It seems these guys/managers are a bunch of -rather go to a reputable dealership!
