I've had my brand new Mahindra XUV 500 since September 2012.

Since the very beginning there have been problems with the brakes on this vehicle. At 50000km's the brakes were changed. It didn't feel any better after the change. The brakes have been changed 3 times since its been in our care. The next problem was the reverse light and parking distance sensor. This stopped working and we had a noise coming from the front of the bonnet which sounded like a fan belt. We took the car to Mahindra Northcliff and were told everything had been fixed.
The very next morning the Mahindra made a whistling sound. It disappeared after 1 day. Now it appears that there is an oil leak. Wow, I never endeavoured to have so much trouble with a brand new car. It's one thing after the other and the after service is completely shocking. After my brakes were changed, we experienced some rainy weather. I nearly caused an accident twice. Now this had become personal. Mahindra has knowingly put my life and the lives of my family I'm immediate danger. This is unacceptable. I'm going to give Mahindra an opportunity to respond to me urgently and solve these problems. Failing to do so, I will take legal action. I
