I bought a second hand car from Inspectacar Zambezi on the 23 January 2013 and i drove to my home in Mpumalanga - Nelspruit on the 1 March 2013. On my way back on the 3 March 2013 the car just had a engine failure and couldn't start anymore. This was exactly 12 days after i took the car from the dealer. I then phone the dealer and the car was eventually towed to the nearest VW in Nelspruit. I phoned the dealer where i purchased the motor vehicle who were not helpful. Everytime i was told the owner is not around or another excuse. They wanted the car to be towed to them in Pretoria but i must pay the towing fees which was R7000.00 and i could not pay that. The dealer in Nelspruit then send them a quote to repair of R44 374.34 which was for a new engine and clam belt because the was a problem with oil pickup was clogged causing insufficient oil supply those seizing the cam shaft. Cam belt also broke as a result. There was some small particles of dirt oil in the oil sump found. Till now my car is still in Nelspruit. The dealer in Pretoria wants me to pay 50% and they will pay the other 50%. I have been paying the instalment since February for the car that i don't have. Please assist.
