I recently made a booking for car hire with europcar via vitality.

booking was done online via website, received my quote at R816 and accepted.

trouble stated right off the bat as the rear lights were not working and we notices this only halfway into our journey between pe and jbay as it was still light upon leaving..

after this was sorted out and we returned the vehicle after use i get an invoice for R1192. i immediately sent and email to the customer service department informing them of error, this was on the 26 Feb 2013 and immediately yet to receive any form of response.

anticipating this i made 2 calls to the customer service department one same day and other following day both individuals assured a response within the hour. i am still waiting...

i also made a call directly to the pe airport branch whom assures it to be clear up immediately and also guarant the release of holding deposit of R2300. guess what. funds still on hold even after they incorrectly charged my amount! ridiculous!

what's the point of a quote if u don't stick to it??? and they might as well not have a customer contact centre as the aren't worth wasting your time over.

stay away at all cost!
