Never an VW AMAROK again!! 2011/ 90.000 km's

I am sorry to inform you that I have had major problems with my VW Amarok 4 motion. It has come to a point now that I no longer have any faith in this particular car and do not want to drive it anymore unless the engine and brakes are completely replaced.

The latest problem I reported with a 90, 000 km service was a rattling interior door panel, rattling braking system on dirt roads and the engine was losing coolant... According to VW Knysna there was no problem with the cooling because they did a pressure test... The rattling of the brakes the mechanic could not hear as he drove with the windows closed when he tested it... The highly irritating squeaking of the door panel he could also not discover.. After I took him for a test drive he understood..

I had to go back to the garage several times; they never called me once in the two weeks that the problem was known to them. I had to physically go 3 times to ask if they could please check the disappearing coolant and gave them some suggestions, could be the cylinder head gasket or worse a cracked cylinder head. They did not believe me until I did my own tests and found that the cooling system was under tremendous pressure
