Courtesy car?? walking would be bette

I got a courtesy car from Avis Randburg as my car is in for repairs. The courtesy car sounds like its about to break down, as if things will just fall off while I'm driving it. I called the Randburg branch and was told that i can bring the car back in but they don't have any other cars so i wont be able to exchange. I sent an email to their complaints office this morning and received a read recipient but no one has gotten back to me. The lady I spoke to informs me that once i bring the car back in the contract will be cancelled, so now i would like to know how, as i am not in breach, they are because they are the ones who gave me a car in that condition and now they cant exchange. I don't see how them running out of stock is any of my business or my problem as I'm not in breach. I refuse to use this car as i feel like my life is at risk, the gears feel like after changing them the car is going to drop and besides the gears the car sounds like I'm pulling tin cans. I wont risk my life like that. I'm paying for this service and i refuse to be treated as though its a favour or a donation.
