I was in a car accident on Saturday 15 June 2013, I requested a courtesy car from outsurance and I was told that I could collect the car from Avis the same day, unfortunately Avis was already closed on my arrival. I then called on Monday to confirm the booking because no ref. no was sent via sms as promised. Again another advisor (Merinda) confirmed that all is in order, I could collect the vehicle on Tuesday morning. On Tuesday morning no email or booking was made yet, but an email was quickly sent to Avis () by yet another advisor (Awa). After receiving authorisation from Outsurance, Avis then booked the courtesy car for me. I paid a security deposit as advised by Lolo on the day of the accident.
On Tuesday morning, I received a call from Lolo telling me that I am not covered for a courtesy car??? I have requested to be contacted by senior management but with no avail. Why was the courtesy car authorised and this was confirmed by 3 advisors.
I took out a policy with Outsurance because of the positive feedback I received from family and friends, but unfortunately outsurance has not been "bending backwards" for me as advertised, the accident was not even my fault. Unhappy.
