8 days to deliver an overnight express package!!!

I sent an important parcel overnight express delivery on the 30th December as I needed it to be there that week. I checked on 31 Dec and 2 Jan and both said out for delivery. I was only able to check again on 7 Jan and the parcel STILL had not been delivered. We contacted the centurion branch and they said that it would be delivered that day, and when asked why it had not been delivered, we were told that someone would call and get back to us. We called again later as of course no one called us back. We checked again on 8 Jan and the track and trace was not clear so we called to confirm it had been delivered. We spoke to 2 different people and neither could give us a simple answer and both promised to "call us back" as they needed to "investigate" the matter. Finally on the 3rd call I spoke to someone who could actually confirm delivery. I requested to speak to someone to complain about how long it took to deliver my parcel but "no one was available" and that his supervisor would "call back". Again another lie!! Its disgusting that I paid for a service that I did not recieve (8 days for overnight delivery) and that no one is willing to rectify the situation!
