So I got the standard and somewhat insulting Copy 'n Paste reply from the highly productive and resourceful Craig v Niekerk "... thanking me for allowing them the opportunity to address my complaint". Then, the august Mathias Schuetz responds with an extremely uninspired attempt to appease me and to assure me that I am lying and that their gifted staff checking the vehicle with me when I handed it in, was indeed comatose and/or blind and deaf. According to their refulgent outlook on life; I crashed their car, had the audacity to it with the hope that they would not notice and then fled the scene, only to be caught an hour later when I reached the terminal. Then, in a moment of ethical acuity, they simply deducted what they deemed fit from my card to cover the damage they allege I caused. I struggle with disdain to not to espy the difference between what Europcar had done to me & blatant arrogance, corporate greed and incompetence. I was a frequent & loyal customer but no more. I will make it my mission to inform every person I know, every social network and the entire (International) organization I work with to ensure that no one else falls prey to this cohort of purloiners!
