We hired a vehicle from Europcar CT, for 3 days. We collected at approx 16:30 on the thursday returning the vehicle at approx 16:45 on Sunday. We were charged an entire days rental for 15 minutes late. Every other rental I have ever used gives at least 2 hours grace before charging a full additional day.
When I queried this - at first there was absolutely no response to my query. It took 8 days and 3 additional mails to both the Customer Care and the Accounts departments before anyone even bothered to respond. After 4 weeks I received an extremely terse response saying - those are their terms so tough. I will (and none of the other people with me) never voluntarily use Europcar again because of this bad attitude and service. I will also off Europcar to any other person I ever have the opportunity to. In this economic climate I would assume that service companies would be making sure that every customer - no matter how small has a good thing to say about my company. Well you now have 4 x as many people as we can influence who think you stink!!!
