I called Tyre Mart Midrand and was quoted on a pair of Nexen tyres. I took my vehicle to have my tyres replaced. After completion of the work, I inspected the tyres. I found that a cheaper brand of tyre was used called Sunny. Upon enquiring I was told by Carl that Nexen supplies the Sunny brand. I found this strange since Nexen is made in South Korea and Sunny is made in China. Carl insisted that he was correct. The truth is that both tyres are made by different manufacturers with Sunny being the cheaper brand. I brought this to the attention of the manager who did not give a.

What a bunch of. I would have driven away thinking I have put on Nexen tyres whilst driving a cheap Chinese brand. Worse still I would have paid the Nexen price.

Is this the ethical business practice of all Tyre Mart branches?
