Broke windscreen when fixing a rattle in dashboard

In July 2013 I took my Kia Rio 1.4 TEC to Kia the Glen to fix a rattle in my dashboard. When I went to pick up the my car windscreen was cracked and my dashboard was still rattling. Johan who was the service manager at that time promised that he will get authorisation to fix the windscreen and fix the rattle in the dashboard once the bulletin comes from Kia on how to fix the dashboard. I was never informed to bring my car in to fix or when the bulletin came out, but when my car was due for service now in November I advise them to fix the windscreen and the rattle. Johan left and a new service manager by the name of Ralf was handling my car service. When i went to fetch my car, the rattle was fixed but my windscreen was still broke. i queried the issue with the servicing staff and was told to claim it from my insurance because it looks like the crack in the windscreen was caused by a stone. I am really disappointed in the service that I received. POOR SERVICE!!! :-(
