Fast Expensive Courier but no delivery yet!!!

TNT EXPRESS was paid to deliver a package from Italy. It took 36 hours to travel from Italy via London to Johannesburg. But its been 10 days now and has still not been delivered to me... 160km away!!!

I paid almost R2000 for this service but clearly it is of no concern to this company that they are not living up to the service they are advertising. This is something that I'm being protected against with the new consumer act!!!

I paid within 24 hours and had to change my delivery address... but was already asked twice to send them the proof of that again!! Someone is not doing their job. No one at the company can help me out as I'm being put through to different people. just telling me the same thing... talk to someone else!!!

My previous package that was handled by them, also from Italy, also took ages to be delivered. It was eventually dropped off at my neighbors without even contacting ME... which was specified from the beginning, as that was an expensive piece of equipment.

This kind of service (un) delivery is unacceptable and people are getting away with charging large fees and no real service.
"It will get there when it gets there" seems to be the Africa way of doing things!
