A disastrous first time experience!

My first experience with DHL turned out to be a disaster!
12 Feb 2013:Paid R2600 for a small package to Brazil via DHL Express, told that the package will be delivered in Brazil within 3 days
End Feb: Called DHL & no answer. Emailed DHL using their online form, requiring clarity why is the package still on hold
4/03:Akhona Mvusa emailed, the package is on hold due to lithium battery sign
5/03:I notified her that the package needs to be re-routed to Italy as the recipient is leaving Brazil
10/03:Signed & sent the non-hazardous statement & re-iterated that the package should be re-routed to Genoa, Italy
12/03:Wrote an email asking Akhona for feedback & she tells me that the package is off to Brazil & that I've given her a short time to re-route the package
14/03:The recipient is on sea on her way to Italy while the package is lying in Brazil & they want her to pay taxes
15/03:Complaint on DHL via their online form. Delia Bayman contacted via email assuring assistance.
25/03:Asked Delia for feedback
28/03: NO RESPONSE
28/03:Received a call from Rejoice, that the package is not yet delivered? GLITCH IN A SYSTEM
3 April: Asked Delia for feedback
5 April: NO RESPONSE...
