Bad Service - RIPPED OFF!

On the 28/08/2012 I went to the Soweto VW branch on for a service (Job no. 2607) on my POLO 1, 9Tdi, where they changed a whole lot of things, 'including' the Battery. They said that my battery needed changing, I opted for the VW Econo battery for R900. This was already out of my budget, but I did ot for my own piece of mind. In August 2013, my battery died, I took the battery out, and saw no VW signs on it at all. Took the battery to my local Battery Centre, and they confirmed to me that the battery was not changed. It was an old battery. I kept the battery, and paid another R1200 for a new one. Called the service manager at VW Soweto and he said that there will be little he can do, since there is such a big time gap. I expected a LOT more quality from these guys, and now I have lost so much money, with little or no regard from the guys at VW Soweto who ripped me off. If you are servicing your car there, you had better be a mechanic or have the time to inspect every single thing they invoice for, if not... PLEASE go somewhere else!
