First National Battery
Conned by same compny twice

Cars & Transport

In 2011 I purchased a car battery for Toyota at Battery Centre in Silverton. I was surprised that a year later it had given me signs that I had to buy a new one. I then went back to Battery Centre to complain the store manager, who said I should have brought it every 6 months for them to check if all is well. I explained to him that I hadn't been informed & it was the 1st time hearing this. In my desperate situation, I bought a new battery (Aug 2012) to replace the old one. I followed the advice and had it checked up every 6 months. In July 2013 the Battery started giving me problems again, despite the regular check ups. I reported to the battery centre and was informed that I had to buy a new one again. They refused to replace it, because they said it was past the 12 month warranty date, instead they did the check up. I was confused because batteries should last 3 years when cared for. 3 months later, the battery died and now I'm stranded without a car. My husband took the battery to other battery experts and they informed him that they sold us the wrong battery size was as it is too small for the Corolla. I don't know what to do-I feel like I was conned twice by same people
