BAD Service from ARC

My car was delivered to Alberante BMW ARC for a repair after damage caused by unprotected road works. It was quoted as a simple job requiring 8 hours work. The car was delivered to the ARC on the 30/10/2013. I called and I was told that the car would be ready on the 05/11/2013 at the very latest. Upon calling on the 05/11 I was told that the job had not even been started and they passed the buck to the insurance company. This after sending me an sms the day before confirming that the vehicle is ready for delivery as scheduled. The inconvenience this has caused is tremendous especially since I made alternative arrangements up to the 05/11. I am now stranded. It is unfortunate that my insurer forces me to use this dealership. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am considering abandoning the brand entirely.
