I rented a car on the 22nd of September 2013, I was helped by some guy who was even late to work, they gave me a dirty car which I accepted because I was in a hurry. The car had scratches all over, another assistant came we inspected the car together where he showed me all the minor scratches, instead of also giving me a copy or noting it on my contract they didnt. when I dropped my car at Randburg branch, I met Bongi who promised to call me once she got a draft of those scratches from Umthatha branch, I was supprised to be charged R2271.93 Excl without my knowledge, they never borthered to call me, worse I got nothing to do with those scratches. I have been to Randburg several times and they (Rebecca) promise to call me everytime and they never did. Sandry approved of me being charged without my knowledge and never bordered to call me. This service is utter nonsense and I will take it up with the relevant people. I think Budget hires more proffessional people than Avis. This thing of branches hiding scratches so that another branch can pay for them its affecting us consumers. I will be contacting consumer advocate if this is not resolved by tomorrow.
